'Terrace House: Tokyo' to debut on Netflix in May

Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Terrace House will return to Netflix in the spring.

The streaming site announced in a tweet on its See What's Next account Monday that a new season of the Japanese reality show is coming in May.

The new season is titled Terrace House: Tokyo. The season is expected to take place in the Japanese capital, but other details are being kept under wraps.

"#TerraceHouse fans, I've got great news for you: a new installment of this addictive series is coming in May!" the post reads.

Terrace House debuted its first season, Boys x Girls Next Door, on Fuji Television in 2012. Its subsequent seasons, Boys & Girls in the City, Aloha State and Opening New Doors, were co-produced with Netflix.

Terrace House follows six strangers, three men and three women, as they live in a shared house. The show features commentary from You, Reina Triendl, Yoshimi Tokui, Azusa Babazono and Ryota Yamasato.
